「Cardiac Arrest」は、「心停止状態」という意味です。
上記の記事によると、
"Los Angeles Fire Department Captain Steve Ruda said paramedics responded to a 911 call at Jackson's home around 12:26 p.m. The 50-year old was not breathing when they arrived. The paramedics performed CPR and took him to UCLA Medical Center, Ruda says."
とあります。要約すると、
「ロスアンジェルス消防局のSteve Ruda隊長は、現地時間午後12:26頃（日本時間午前4時26分頃）、ジャクソンさん宅から救急車を要請する911通報（日本の119）があったと語った。彼らが到着した時には、50才のマイケル・ジャクソンさんは息をしていなかった。 Ruda隊長によると、『救急隊員が心肺蘇生術を行った後、ジャクソンさんをUCLAのメディカルセンターに搬送した』とのことである」
